WHY THE 32 HOUR SUPPORTED SCAFFOLD INSTALLER & REMOVER COURSE?
This course introduces supervisors to the Site Safety plans and how they can be used to protect worker safety. The instructor will cover OSHA and DOB regulatory requirements and the steps that Site Safety Managers must take to implement the plans.
This course will also explain how to read blueprint components, including typical symbols, hatches and notes. it will incorporate the viewing perspective of a blueprint reading, including birds eye view, section details elevation and the 3-D isometric view. Will review the different components of a site safety plan, explain why site safety plans are necessary for the success of a construction project, and a basic overview of blueprint reading related to site safety plans.
Upon Completing this course, the students will be able to
Describe the effects of drugs and alcohol in a person
Describe the effects of drugs and alcohol in workplace, including the impact of the impairment on workplace safety, increased risk of injury to the student, other workers and the public
Apply the given information to identifiable signs of addiction in themselves and others
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
100% attendance of this course is required to gain certification. Students must attend all 8-Hours, are expected on time as per Quantum Safety’s rules.
Quantum Safety expects that its students must be able to demonstrate that they have achieved the learning outcomes. Every student must pass a final exam before certification, and achieve at least a 65% passing grade—final exams can be attempted as many times as necessary by a student to gain certification.
LATENESS AND ABSENCES POLICY
Furthermore, 30 minutes will be considered the minimum allowance for lateness. Any student who is absent for any training day or who shows up 30 minutes after the scheduled starting time will be asked to schedule a make-up training day for the contact hours of the day.
